Viridian
Launches Solar Partnership
August 1st, Cambridge, UK. Viridian,
a renewable technology development company based near Cambridge, today
announced its intention to create a partnership to develop cost effective
solar hot water systems.
Viridian
is seeking up to ten forward-looking organisations in the building industry
to help in the specification and development of this new technology.
Partners need only pledge a small commitment of time.
Martin Davies,
Chairman of Viridian, commented on the programme: "Viridian has
top quality engineering and business expertise. We are looking to complement
that by partnering with organisations that can bring the experience
and know-how of the construction industry, to ensure that the resulting
product truly meets their needs."
"Partner
organisations are likely to be building companies, registered social
landlords or architectural practices, that have the vision and foresight
to lead the way in this area of increasing public interest." said
Stuart Elmes, Chief Executive of Viridian. "They will want to offer
their customers a real choice for living sustainably."
Viridian
aims to have partners signed up to the programme by January 2004.
